What are the signs that a tree is no longer safe?
Trees become unsafe when structural integrity is compromised. Our partner arborists are trained to identify risks before failure occurs.
Safety Red Flags Include:
- Deep cracks in the trunk
- Severe lean not caused by growth
- Uprooting or loose soil around the base
- Large dead limbs overhead
- Fungus growing at the base
- Significant insect damage
- Bark separating from trunk
- Hollow areas inside major limbs
If a tree shows more than one of these signs, failure is much more likely during storms or strong winds.
